Cornercopia in Brixton | Brunch in London
65 BRIXTON VILLAGE MARKET
BRIXTON SW9 8PS
When a friend is about to set off on a trip around the world, you have to say goodbye in style. Based on her recommendation (I have to admit I don't make it down to Brixton even close to often enough) we met for breakfast at a little place called Cornercopia.
I ended up picking the home made granola with cherries and had little bites from both Marion (Mexican inspired dish) and Gaelle (I think it was a creamy smoked aubergine something on sourdough toast)'s plates
The menu changes all the time and they use lovely local ingredients, and I'm pretty sure they do dinner too, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Can't go wrong with this one! Although I wouldn't recommend going with more than 4 people, as there are only a couple of tables and benches.
If you haven't been in this neighbourhood before, make sure to plan in some extra time to pop into some of the adorable shops for some cushions, post cards and lots of other trinkets.
