6 Relaxing YouTubers I'm watching right now
Looking to bring some calm to your YouTube subscription feed? I thought it would be fun to give you a small look into my viewing habits, because even though the algorithm never ends, sometimes it can be hard to find new inspiration on YouTube.
Most of the channels I regularly watch are about books (a surprise to no-one), illustration or fit into the ‘planning and cottagecore’ side of lifestyle videos. The channels below are ones that bring me calm, teach me lots and are the perfect lunch-time break watching.
Mina Rome
Mina’s channel is by no means an unknown channel and it’s a long-term favourite of mine. Mina’s well paced videos of very doable (and often very unique) vegan recipes are always a joy to watch. This video combines two of my favourite things in life: picnics and brioche buns.
Minnie Small
Minnie is an artist based in South-East London. I love her soothing narration, beautiful paintings and getting a peek into the day to day of an illustrator.
Sustainably Vegan
If you want to learn more about a sustainable and low impact lifestyle, Immy’s channel is the place to be. Her food preparation videos are my personal favourites, but there’s a great variety of topics covered in her videos.
Never Too Small
If you’re into interior design or just like getting a peek inside people’s houses, definitely check out this channel that focuses on small apartments that have been designed in very interesting ways. They range from super tiny to ‘normal’ small apartment size, and some are definitely more practical than others. But if you’re looking for something calming and inspirational to watch, this is always a good call!
Emmie
Emmie’s BookTube channel is a newer discovery for me, and the soft-spoken narration, cosy setting and combination of ‘day in the life’ vlogs and book-themed videos makes for great relaxing watching, plus you’ll be adding lots of books to your TBR.
Frannerd
Fran documents her work as an illustrator, who has created her own brand and online shop, from her studio in Brooklyn. I often like to watch her vlogs and draw along with them! You’ll see iced coffees, honest stories and beautiful sketchbooks galore!
If you’ve got any other recommendations to add to my subscription box, do leave them below. And until next time, happy watching!
